Level:

Objective: Providing practice for recognizing numerals 1-10.

Resources: Print the supplied PDF file, glue to construction paper, laminate, trim.

Procedure: With individual students, teacher flips over cards to show face of card, student responds by naming the numeral.

Variations:

1. Place cards face up randomly on table with student putting them in sequential order.
2. Compare cards (i.e. 3 and 8) to teach concept of greater-than (>) and less-than (<).
