Vocabulary Review and Practice:
    
Resources: Teacher: vocabulary words on 4x6 cards Students:
none.
Teacher Preparation: After reading a story or studying a chapter,
write key vocabulary words on cards with a marker.
Procedure:
- Teacher holds a word card above a student's head making sure student
does not see card, but rotating card so rest of class does.
- Without saying the word, call on another student to give definition
of the word.
- The first student tries to guess the word.
- Continue the activity until all the vocabulary word cards have been
answered correctly.
Variations/Options: Can also be used with numbers on the cards;
students make up a math problem answered by the number on the card, which
the first student must guess.
