One Eyed Drawing:
grade 3-6
With patience and practice anyone can draw well enough to surprise themselves. A tip for students who complain that "it doesn't look right" is to close one eye while looking at the subject they are drawing. One problem we have is that we are trying to convert three dimensions (as seen by our two eyes) into only two dimensions on paper. Closing one eye flattens the depth of field, thus approximating the two dimensional world of drawing.
